About Ramsay Talks
RamsayTalks have been held in Toronto for over 40 years.
They began as luncheons‚ with speakers like Malcolm Gladwell, Valery Gergiev, Sir Edmund Hillary, Brent Hawkes and Margaret MacMillan. Then in 2009, they grew into breakfasts, smaller and more interactive gatherings with speakers like Samantha Power, Robin Ghivan, Tracy Kidder and Peter Gelb.
In 2010, Bob Ramsay partnered with the Globe and Mail and Mackenzie Financial to create the Keynote Speaker Series with leading thinkers who happen to be authors such as Ken Auletta, Sheena Iyengar, Nicholas Christakis, Tim Wu and Tony Hsieh.
In addition, in the summer of 2011 RamsayTalks co-produced the 20th anniversary reunion of Thelma & Louise, with Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis live on stage at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.
Today, RamsayTalks include series programmed for larger venues such as the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema with speakers such as Jane McGonigal, Robyn Doolittle and David Thomson.
